Longtime Lamar football coach Tom Nolen was honored Saturday by the Texas Italian-American Sports Foundation at its annual scholarship luncheon.
Nolen, whose 2012 team advanced to the 2012 Class 5A Division I title game against Allen, has 255 victories at Lamar since 1985 and coached four TCIL championship teams at Strake Jesuit.
