Today, Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist II announced Italian automotive design company Italdesign will establish their U.S. headquarters in Bloomfield, Michigan. The announcement comes during Consumer Electronics Show 2025, building on Michigan’s leadership in the mobility sector and marking another milestone for the state’s innovation ecosystem.
Italdesign’s expansion will bring 24 high-paying jobs to the state and over $20 million in private investment to the local economy. The company chose Michigan over competing sites in Ohio and California as part of its focus on advanced automotive design and engineering.
