“A lasting success in the war against Isis will not be possible without the presence of the Italian Carabinieri”, Ambassador Brett McGurk, U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIS, told a conference on the collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Carabinieri Corps to enhance citizens’ security and promote Italian concerns abroad.
