Springtime everywhere means a revival: of nature, of colors and fragrances that re-awake the spirit from its winter slumber. Perhaps this is no more so the case than in Italy, and particularly in Tuscany, with its unique and resplendent natural endowments.
In a 1,800-hectare expanse between Pistoia and Florence, the Padule di Fucecchio is Italy's largest interior marsh, and it is in part protected by two diferent nature reserves.
