A new, sweet record in Sicily. In Sciacca, in the province of Agrigento, a 150-kilo super cassata was made. To pay homage to the local and regional confectionery art, therefore, the queen of Made in Sicily cakes was chosen: the cassata. A triumph of colors and flavors. Inside, sponge cake and ricotta cream with chocolate chips. On the outside, a colorful covering, reminiscent of the Sicilian sun.
The 150-pound super cake was meticulous in every detail: there was no shortage of classic decorations on the edges, made with great skill. A feat that required mastery and patience. Everything was created before the eyes of many curious onlookers and fans who, hour after hour, watched the cake come to life. A wonderful satisfaction for the pastry chefs, who were able to achieve another, mouth-watering record, with a new triumph of Sicily and Sicilianity.
