On Saturday, November 2, 2024 in the San Martino Buon Albergo municipal Donini room headquarters, Mayor Giulio Furlani along with Federazione Italiana Baseball Softball (FIBS) President Andrea Marcon welcomed Los Angeles Angels pitcher Samuel Aldegheri home and debuted ‘Diamante Azzurro II’, the literary work by Riccardo Schiroli on the history of Italian baseball and softball in print.
San Martino Buon Albergo (Veneto) Mayor Giulio Furlani said, “It is a day of celebration in his city, with Samuel’s family and the boys from his first team. it is truly a source of pride for San Martino to have him and to have you here."
