In one single day, the men's Champion's League and the women's Champion's League were won by Italy, which dominates the world of European volleyball. Yesterday in Antalya, Turkey, Itas Trentino lifted the most coveted continental trophy to the sky by overcoming the Poles of Jastrzebski Wegiel 3-0 in the men's final.
At the same time, it was the Italian champions Conegliano (Veneto) who completed the all-Italian celebration, beating another Italian team, Milan, in the final. With the club season finally coming to a close, the great volleyball public now awaits the start of the national team competitions, with the 2024 Volleyball Nations League and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
