A pilot project "Growing digital" that teams farming lobby Coldiretti with US tech giant Google and the Ministry of Labor will be presented today that aims to digitalize agriculture and create new jobs for young people in the farming sector, where employment is growing (unlike other areas of the economy).
The latest data published by ISTAT show a 2.2% increase of people working in agriculture, +3.3% in the South of Italy. But there are still other possibilities to explore, especially those linked to the spread of digital technologies.
