Country legend Dolly Parton sings a rock version of her 1973 smash Jolene with Roman rockers Måneskin on her new album, Rockstar, which came out Friday. It is the first rock track by the 77-year-old music great. Parton posted a video of her and Måneskin in a recording studio, in which she appears particularly pleased with the results. Mick Jagger recently called 2021 Eurovision winners Måneskin the greatest rock band in the world.
The rockers picked up two gongs at the MTV European Music Awards earlier this month. Damiano, Victoria, Thomas and Ethan got the awards for Best Rock Band and Best Italian Act. They beat the likes of Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters to the best rock band prize.
