Now it's official: "The greatest national team in the history of soccer will now be led by the most victorious coach in the world." With this announcement, the Brazilian Football Federation has confirmed Italian Carlo Ancelotti's appointment as head coach of the Brazilian national team. Ancelotti will lead Brazil until the 2026 World Cup.
"Bringing Carlo Ancelotti to lead Brazil is more than a strategic choice. It is a statement to the world that we are determined to reclaim the highest spot on the podium," said the Brazilian Football Federation. "He is the greatest coach in history, and now he is leading the greatest national team on the planet. Together, we will write new glorious chapters of Brazilian football."
