Italy is slowly emerging from the tunnel of recession, but it is not yet clear whether new jobs will shore up the recovery.
The latest survey on expected inflation and growth carried out by Il Sole 24 Ore and the Bank of Italy confirmed the outlook recently outlined by Bank of Italy Governor Ignazio Visco: recovery is on its way, and growth could even hit 1.5% in 2016; but in the meantime, development must be strengthened with reforms.
