This time there are no more excuses. Postponed from year to year, driven especially by the exports that have helped to transform the collapse of the years 2008-2009 into a slight decline and then into a substantial stability, the recovery of the wood-furnishing sector (that is worth almost €27 billion and gives work to more than 360,000 people in Italy) should finally be a reality.
A reality that began already with the year just ended, which experienced a boom in exports, which grew between January and September (according to the latest calculations by FederlegnoArredo) by 6% for the entire chain and by 6.3% just for furnishings.
