V8 engines are superb. We’ve got them in a couple of supercars such as the Ferrari F40, Mosler MT900, Ascari KZ1, and the ultra-powerful SSC Ultimate Aero TT. They’ve also been borrowed from the United States and planted into Italian sports cars.
One such example is the De Tomaso Longchamp. Given their incredible success with other cars at the time, De Tomaso decided to add a GT into their models. Named De Tomaso Longchamp, it borrowed a 330-horsepower V8 from Ford.
