The Venetian and The Palazzo's annual holiday celebration Winter in Venice just got even tastier. This year, the Italian-inspired resorts partnered with the premiere culinary magazine dedicated to all things Italian to create the La Cucina Italiana Food and Wine Festival. Held December 5-8, the festival is hosted by chef Mario Batali, along with chefs Buddy Valastro of TLC and the new Buddy V's at The Palazzo, Wolfgang Puck butcher Dario Cecchini (the famed "singing butcher of Panzano) and other influential Italian culinary figures.

"I feel like in Vegas, we own Italy here," says Sebastian Silvestri, vice president of food and beverage for the properties. "The gondolas, the Grand Colonnade, Doges Palace; it's so beautiful."
