A popular local Italian joint will take over what once was the home of a Nob Hill mainstay. For years, the patio in front of the old service station on Central Avenue and Wellesley Drive every summer was packed full of round metal tables, green plastic lawn chairs and bright red umbrellas.
Customers drank beer brewed on-site, back before Albuquerque became the brewery town it is today, snacked on hot wings and ostrich burgers and tried to wave down their waitperson who had no less than 10 tables in their section that night.
