Artisanal pizza with ingredients bought from Italy or locally sourced will soon be served in a neighborhood restaurant on Grapevine’s Main Street. The Miami-born pizzeria Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza is opening its second Texas location in Grapevine on May 2, according to a press release. Mister O1 is located in Grapevine at 129 S. Main St., Ste. 155.
The restaurant’s recipes have been created by founder and master pizza chef Renato Viola. Viola, born and raised in southern Italy, began cooking at a young age and by age 11 was apprenticing under Italian chefs. He moved to the U.S. under the O1 Visa category, which is reserved for those with extraordinary artistic ability or achievement, the release stated.
