As you know, I am over American-style pizza in Coral Springs. We have too many pizza places, ok? There are 20 pizza restaurants per 100,000 people in our town. But my cries have fallen on deaf ears – Coral Springs is so proud of its pizza that we will even attempt a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest pizza party during the town’s 60th Anniversary in 2023.

But that doesn’t mean I hate pizza. I love pizza. I bake it myself, and I’ve even reviewed consumer pizza ovens for other publications. What I want is authentic Italian pizza.
