Gina Stellino says that her husband, Joey, a first generation Sicilian-American, grew up so immersed in the world of Italian food that he "might as well have been born on a pizza table."
The secrets of garlic-rich sauces, blistered pizza crusts, tender stuffed pastas — all were taught to him from an early age by his mother in their home kitchen. Gina's Stonefired Italian and Pizzeria is the realization of the Stellinos' long-held dream: to own and operate a family restaurant where chef Joey could express his culinary passion and re-create those beloved dishes.
