The first time Paul Bonacquisti was fired from his job as a DJ, he spontaneously asked his partner, Judi, to marry him. The second time, in 2005, he decided to open a winery.
Both were ultimately good decisions: The happy couple has now been together for 20 years, and they jointly run Bonacquisti Wine Company, Denver’s longest-running urban winery.
