Guido’s -- a casual, family-run Italian restaurant in Ravenna -- serves the best lasagna in Northeast Ohio, according to voters in cleveland.com’s Best Lasagna contest. The Portage County restaurant received slightly more than 37 percent of the nearly 6,000 votes cast. Stancato’s on State Road in Parma placed second with 31.33 percent of the vote. Bruno’s Ristorante on W. 41st Street in Cleveland rounded out the Top 3.
July is National Lasagna Awareness Month, and we’ve been on the hunt for the region’s best for the past few weeks, narrowing things down to a Top 20 and a Top 10. In the coming days, Cleveland.com’s Best of Cleveland team will be visiting Guido’s, Stancato’s and Bruno’s and will showcase each restaurant in upcoming stories.
