Lawrence Green, the owner of Maialina Italian Kitchen & Bar, says the restaurant brings Old World, traditional, “comfort,” Italian food and caters it to the new generation. They’ve been bringing that strategy to their customers’ tables since July 2019 from 1103 Prospect St.
However, he says after a successful first six months in business, they’ll need the community’s support to keep it all going after the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. “It’s been a tough one, but we really rallied, had a lot of customer support and comeback,” Green said. “It’s comfort food.
