Mrs. Robino's, the landmark Wilmington Italian-American restaurant, is the final Delaware restaurant to be featured on the series, "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives." The episode airs Friday at 9 p.m. Celebrity chef Guy Fieri, who hosts the Food Network program, visited six New Castle County area restaurants and food businesses last February. It was his first time visiting Delaware for the series that has been airing since 2007.
In addition to Mrs. Robino's, he filmed at Locale BBQ Post, Luigi Vitrone's Pastabilities, Stoney's Pub, Farmer & the Cow and Maiale Deli & Salumeria. Since then, Fieri has been spreading out the Delaware-themed visits among episodes for the current 30th season of the popular TV show that's nicknamed "Triple D."
