Julio's Cafe continues to thrive and grow after 51 years

Julio’s Cafe, on Clarksburg’s Baltimore Avenue, has long been a staple of the local Italian-American community. For the past 51 years, three generations of the Iaquinta family have prided themselves on serving up some of the finest steak, seafood and authentic Italian cuisine found anywhere in the region.

Costanza Iaquinta, the restaurant’s manager, said Julio’s began as a simple diner that catered to travelers from the now-defunct Clarksburg Train Station. “My grandfather opened it in 1967,” she said. “At that point the train station was in still in full effect and there were a few hotels still in operation and this really functioned as a diner. They served breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
