About 50 people attended the grand opening of Chianti Brick Oven Trattoria on Main Street on Thursday, Oct. 27.
Visitors were welcomed in from the rain with a complimentary spread of Italian dishes, including veal parmesan and eggplant rollatini.
The restaurant offers a variety of traditional and wood-fired pizzas, which are flash cooked in 90 seconds in a wood-fired oven. Chianti is located at 249 Main Street. Borough Council Member Len Resto was in attendance Thursday to cut the ceremonial ribbon.
