A New Pasta Haven Just Popped Up in Atwater Village Seemingly Overnight

By: Cathy Chaplin

The Vietnamese restaurant Blossom in Atwater Village, which opened in 2021 and served its final bowl of noodles on November 17, just flipped into a casual Italian restaurant called Spina. Blossom’s owner Duc Pham is a partner in the new business along with chef Pablo Cruz.

(Pham also brought the white-hot Florence, Italy sandwich shop All’Antico Vinaio to Los Angeles, taking over a former location of Blossom as well.) Spina will be open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner soon.
