Owner Roberto Vigilucci, who is from Milano, Italy and a Carlsbad resident opened his first restaurant Vigilucci's Trattoria in Encinitas followed by Vigilucci's Cucina Italiana on State Street in Carlsbad Village followed by Vigilucci's Seafood and Steakhouse also in Carlsbad on Pacific Coast Highway.
