There's a new chapter in the ISSNAF network: it's in the West South Central (WSC) area of the United States which includes Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The chapter aims to create a network of scientists, scholars, and professionals in different disciplines, including Engineering, Life Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Physical Sciences and Math, and Social and Behavioral Sciences.
Their goal is to foster collaboration opportunities between members, promote educational talks, and facilitate career development and mentoring while celebrating Italian scientists, scholars, and professionals working in North America. The WSC Chapter, founded in 2022, currently has about 80 members working as researchers, scholars, educators, and managers both in academia and in the industry across the WSCarea, at all career levels and in all disciplines.
