A college in the Bronx is digging up the roots of Italian-American history through a real-life project. John and Giacomina Meduri - two Italian-Americans who grew up in 1940s - were interviewed by Fordham University professor Kathleen Lapenta to look at the ways they lived and experienced life in the Bronx in the 20th century.
The interview is part of a project called the Bronx Italian American History Initiative and is trying to build a narrative that includes everyone.
