The Hazleton Chapter of UNICO granted their annual scholarships to four successful applicants on June 13. Each successful applicant was awarded $1,500 to be used for their tuition. Two technical school scholarships were awarded to Bruce Hopeck and Brianna Novotnak, and two academic scholarships were awarded to Sophia Lombardo and Madison Lizbinski.
Bruce is the son of Tracey and the late Bruce Hopeck of Drums and plans to attend Northampton Community College, and Brianna is the daughter of Aaron & Danielle Novotnak of Beaver Meadows and will be attending South Hills School of Business & Technology.
