The Italian Cultural Institute and the Consulate General of San Francisco are pleased to present the documentary exhibition LOOKING BEYOND aims to enhance Italian research in the space field and raise international public awareness of multiple uses of satellite tracking technologies to protect the planet.

The project offers a modular and flexible exhibition of satellite images acquired by the Constellation of Small Satellites for the Mediterranean basin Observation (COSMO-SkyMed) and coming from the database of Telespazio / e-GEOS and the Italian Space Agency.

The exhibition is curated by Filippo Maggia, one of the most internationally known Italian experts in the field of contemporary photography.

LOOKING BEYOND is a collaboration between the MAECI, the Italian Space Agency and Telespazio S.p.A./e-GEOS.
