Hotel Granduca will open Nov. 4 — only two days behind schedule, due in part to the volatile weather that lashed Central Texas Friday. The Italian-inspired hotel crowns a hillside near Bee Cave Road and Capital of Texas Highway.
Giorgio Borlenghi, a Houston developer born in Milan, created the luxury hospitality brand beginning with a Hotel Granduca at the Houston Galleria. The 9-story Austin hotel features 194 rooms — as small as 480 square feet and as large as 1,350 square feet.
