Italian giant Enel SpA (BIT:ENEL), through Enel Green Power North America, has initiated construction works on the 225-MWp Azure Sky solar project in Texas, it announced on Tuesday.
The power plant, with a direct current (DC) capacity of 284 MW, will be paired with an 81-MW battery system located on an area west of the Dallas-Fort Worth, in Haskell County. This is the developer's second hybrid project in North America.
