Luxottica and Intel team up for new generation of connected eyewear

"We started to explore new opportunities related to wearable tech devices more than a year ago. In recent months we met several times with Intel.
Their research team first came to see us at our center in Agordo, and later we went to Santa Clara, in California. At this point, why not signing a partnership?" said Massimo Vian, Luxottica CEO, explaining the partnership with Intel announced December 3.
