The 1st Annual Italian Street Festival is about to get underway in downtown Salt Lake City. Festa Italiana will celebrate the culture, entertainment and culinary diversity of Italy. There will be food vendors from some of the most popular authentic Italian restaurants in the Salt Lake Valley. Some of the items that can be found include Gnocchi, Tiramisu, Gelato, Brick Oven Pizza, Arancini, Zeppole, Cannoli and much more.

If you are looking for entertainment, the son of Dean Martin, Ricci Martin, will be performing some of his father's songs Saturday September 19th at 8:00 p.m. The Joe Muscolino Band will perform Sunday at 5:00 p.m. There will also be Italian opera, folk music and some arts and crafts vendors. Guest will see exotic Italian cars and participate in a pasta eating contest and a bocce ball tournament.
