Now, I know for most of you -- and us -- Nicolitalia's, at 2295 N. University Parkway, isn't exactly new on the block, know what I mean? Still, they're worth a mention for their good ol' classic, Boston-style pizza.
We started off with some breaded raviolis -- with housemade marinara sauce -- that were surprisingly good; crunchy and seasoned on the outside, melty on the inside, I'm glad I ordered the small size (6) for $3.99 because I kinda couldn't stop eating them...
A Zaco is a pizza taco, with lettuce and tomato, placed in a thick pita-like crust, folded over like a taco -- like a pizza-taco-sandwich. The fillings were fresh, but the bread was a little tough, the chicken disappointing, and we needed more sauce or spice. I'd give it another chance though.
