The 76th anniversary of the Italian Republic, "Italian National Day", was celebrated in Dallas, Texas. More than 230 participants attended the event, attended by the Consul General of Italy in Houston, the Honorary Consul in Dallas, various Representatives, of the Parliament, CGIE and Comites,of the State of Texas, Local Authorities and the European Chamber of Commerce in America, the Bishop of Dallas, and Italian Associations operating in Texas.
In a lively atmosphere, characterized by a spectacular showcase of Italian products represented by Eataly, the place where the celebration took place, the National Anthems performed by the young soprano Fresquez, drew everyone's attention with emotion.
At the head of the Italian National Day organizing committee was Vincenzo Arcobelli, who wished to thank all the Authorities present, sponsors, and all the participants, pointing out that the State of Texas on June 1, 2011 with the resolution(HCR 144) jointly passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate, designated June 2 as " Italian National Heritage Day."
