WWII veteran turning 100 in Daytona Beach Shores

By: Diane M. Carey

Patrick Tropea sings karaoke, creates beaded poodles to sell for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, plays cards and bocce. What is unique is he does all this as he prepares to turn 100 Feb. 26.

Mr. Tropea, who lives in Daytona Beach Shores, has two grown children (Patrick and Patricia) and five grandchildren.
