People came to enjoy tasty food and nice weather in Lindenhurst on Sunday for the Town of Babylon's Italian Food Festival. Families and friends enjoyed Italian classics like pizza, sausage and peppers and other delicacies. It took place outside of Babylon Town Hall in Lindenhurst.
“Great way to promote Italian culture. We have a presentation inside of the town board room about Italian American history in the Town of Babylon," said Babylon Councilman Anthony Manetta. Much of the food at the festival was homemade like rice balls that originated from Sicily.
