Tony Marmo and Linda Palladino have been selected by the Ulster County Italian-American Foundation as signore and signora of the year and will be honored on Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Italian Festival on the Kingston waterfront, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The honorees will be recognized at the festival's opening ceremony at 11 a.m. at T.R. Gallo Park on West Strand. Funds raised at the festival go toward student scholarships. Marmo is president and owner of Norman Staffing Services and was chief executive officer at the former Kingston Hospital. Palladino is the secretary of the Ulster County Italian-American Foundation and a member of its cultural and scholarship committees.
