There's surely not a doubt that women have contributed significantly to the advancement of our society, to changes in the economic and social growth of the United States, and have made substantial progress in their struggle for equality.
So then as a way to commemorate Women's History Month, a time that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society — celebrated during March in the United States — the Italian American Women of Staten Island will host its annual luncheon.
