In which case: Drop by the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum in Rosebank, which is saturated in Italian-ness thanks to its namesakes: inventor Antonio Meucci (1808-1889) and unification activist Giuseppe Garibaldi (1807-1882).

This summer, "The Italian Paintings," a small show in the museum's circulating galleries, carries a whiff of ribolita, the famous bread-and-bean soup of Florence.
