Free Italian Movies in NYC this November!

New Italian Cinema Events (N.I.C.E.), a nonprofit organization based in Florence, Italy, is back again to celebrate Italian film here in New York! All film screenings are free and open to the public. These films will be in Italian with English subtitles and presented by the directors themselves. Advanced registration is required. Register here.

On Friday, November 18, 2016 catch the award winning documentary If Only I Were That Warrior, by Valerio Ciriaci. This feature documentary film focuses on the Italian occupation of Ethiopia in 1935. Following the construction of a monument dedicated to Fascist general Rodolfo Graziani, the film addresses the unpunished war crimes he and others committed in the name of Mussolini's imperial ambitions.
