Italian photographer and author Piero Ribelli, will introduce the subjects of his latest book project: "50 MAIN STREET, The Face of America," 50 stories and 50 portraits of 50 people in 50 towns, one in each of the 50 states, all found at the same address: 50 Main Street. Accompanied by a comprehensive slide show that will include outtakes from the book, Mr. Ribelli will recount his experience in the making of the book, his travels and his encounters.
Italian journalist Andrea Visconti (L'Espresso, Repubblica) and author/filmmaker Carole Rifkind (A Field Guide to Contemporary American Architecture, The Venetian Dilemma) will join Mr. Ribelli in a panel conversation to which the public will be encouraged to contribute in the search for an Italian equivalent of the American "Main Street," and explore its similarities and differences
