Yes, I have been to every Italian American neighborhood in America. Why? About 4 years ago I noticed that there were many Italian businesses in New York that were disappearing. Some of these businesses were a century old.

Before they all vanished I wanted to have photographs of these neighborhoods and their institutions for the sake of historic preservation and providing a platform on which people can share warm memories. My first stop was Wooster Street in New Haven, Connecticut. Not many people know that there is a Little Italy in New Haven. It is only three blocks long and maybe 9 square blocks but it's there and so is Tony & Lucille's.
