The Sons of Italy Lodge 2738 jazzed up its annual academic endowments with some high-class Las Vegas-style entertainment Saturday at the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center.
In a strikingly decked out dining hall — a perfect complement to the full house of sharp dressed men and women — 19 students of Italian heritage received both a $750 scholarship and a gift bag worth several hundred dollars.
