In keeping with the spirit of the season, the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii will host its 15th annual Mary and Christmas celebration on Dec. 5. Maestro Paul French will once again lead the incomparable William Ferris Chorale through a diverse program that will include a pair of beloved themes by Ennio Morricone, songs dedicated to the Blessed Mother and a cavalcade of holiday classics.
Joining the chorale this year will be a host of vocal and instrumental soloists as well as the young harp virtuoso, Keryn Woude. A pre-concert reception at 6 p.m. will feature an elegant buffet prepared by Piccolo Sogno. After the concert, guests are invited to attend a champagne and pastry reception.
