The Consulate of Italy in Detroit informs that appointments with the Citizenship (applications though descent), Passport, and Visa offices can be booked on our Online Booking System. Booking an appointment is free of charge. The system is set daily to book appointments in the coming months. In order to book an appointment you need to create a personal account, by filling the form on the right side of this page (name, surname, and personal information should correspond exactly to the personal data reported on your passport).

After filling the form, the system will send you an email with instructions on how to activate your account. Once your account is activated you will be able to access the appointment system with your username and password, and book your visit with the Visa Office, with the Passport Office, or with the Citizenship Office. If you cannot find an appointment at a desired date, or, after scheduling an appointment, you would like to schedule one for an earlier date, keep monitoring the system since, when there are cancellations, new appointments become available.
