Dig into Italian history before you dig into ravioli at next week's Italian Festival in Wilmington.
The Delaware Historical Society's exhibit 'Little Italy, Big Festival' goes to the origin of the famous festival.
Curator Ed Richi says you can see photos of the early Italian settlers in Wilmington and how they lived.
"There's photographs of the families in their houses being taught English or being taught math or something at their kitchen table. Those are really very telling pictures, too," he said.
