Eugene F. “Geno” Olivanti, 92, of Virginia passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Cornerstone Villa in Buhl. He was born on June 21, 1925 in Virginia to Frank and Rose (Celli) Olivanti and had been a life long Virginia resident. He retired in 1977 as a Lieutenant in the Virginia Police Department after 25 years of service. Eugene was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Geno was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Virginia; Pratt-Volden-Mickelson-Anderson American Legion Post 239 of Virginia; Italian-American Club of Virginia and was a life member of the Minnesota Police and Peace Officer’s Association.
