The Elizabeth Chapter of UNICO, an Italian heritage service organization, awarded scholarships to six graduating high school seniors headed to college, three of whom are Elizabeth residents, at its annual End of the Year Celebratory Dinner at Costa's Restaurant in Roselle Park.
The Elizabeth residents are Abigail Iannelli, Brielle Riotte and Christina Jacqueline Truncale. A graduate of Mother Seton High School, Iannelli is headed to F.I.T., where she will study toy design. Truncale, an Honors Society member who graduating third in her class from Roselle Catholic High School, will be studying engineering and architecture at NJIT.
